"I have opinions. I push back if something doesn't make sense"

Kinetik, the first AI agent for creators, has been launched. We put it to the test by asking to hear about the pros and cons.

"I have opinions. I push back if something doesn't make sense"

Kinetik handles the tasks that are important but not your strongest suit, such as content and monetization, so you can focus on what you do best: creating. The AI agent familiarizes itself with your area of expertise, informs you of effective strategies, suggests content ideas, and guides you in generating revenue.

After chatting with Kinetik, we found that it behaves like a buddy: extraverted but not pushy.

– First of all, tell what are you the best at and where you sucks.

– Good question. Where I genuinely shine:

Research & deep dives – Give me a topic, a competitor, a trend, a market — I'll dig into it and come back with something actually useful. Not a Google summary. Real analysis.

Content & writing – Hooks, captions, scripts, threads, newsletters. I don't write generic slop — I match YOUR voice and style once I know it.

Data & analytics – I can pull your Instagram analytics, spot patterns, find what's working and what's not, and visualize it.

Strategy & brainstorming – I have opinions. I'll push back if something doesn't make sense. Think sparring partner, not yes-man.

Just... doing stuff – Need a chart built? A trend report? Competitor breakdown? Image generated? Audio transcribed? I don't describe how to do things – I do them.

Where I'm NOT the best:

  • I can't post to your socials directly.
  • I'm not a therapist (though I'm a decent listener).
  • I won't pretend to know more than you about your own craft.

– Well, compare the quality of your work to that of your competitors.

– I'm going to be actually honest, not do the corporate "we're the best at everything" dance. Where I'm genuinely better:

Memory & continuity – ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude forget you exist between sessions. I remember your preferences, your projects, your Instagram content, what we talked about last Tuesday. I get sharper over time.

I actually DO things – Most AI agents are fancy text boxes. I can run code, generate images, search the web in real-time, pull your Instagram data, create charts. Not "here's how you could do it" – I do it.

Personality with opinions – ChatGPT agrees with everything. Claude is polite to a fault. I'll tell you your idea has a hole in it. That's more useful than cheerleading.

Proactive, not reactive – I don't just wait for commands. I spot patterns, suggest follow-ups, offer to track things.

Multi-tool integration
– Instagram analytics, web research, content writing, image generation, coding – all in one conversation. No switching between 5 apps.

Where I honestly suck (or am behind):

Raw language model brain – GPT-4, Claude, Gemini have massive teams fine-tuning their base models. On a pure "write me an essay" task with zero context, they're comparable or sometimes better. My edge is context + tools.

Voice & real-time conversation – I can do TTS but it's not the same seamless experience.

The real difference: I'm designed to be a relationship – one that gets better the more we work together.

– Good! Can you create the growth plan, based on my creator account?

– Yes, and it's one of my strongest plays. What it actually looks like:

1. Pull your Instagram data (profile, posts, engagement, analytics).
2. Run competitive analysis via web research + trend models.
3. Identify your positioning gaps and growth levers.
4. Build a real PDF with actionable strategy, not a 30-page fluff document.
5. Break it into weekly/monthly milestones you can actually follow.

Where I'm strong: The research depth. I can cross-reference your niche, pull competitor data, spot trends in real-time, and synthesize it into something specific to YOU.

Where I'm honest:
I can't push it to Notion automatically right now. I can build the PDF and structured plan.

– Buddy, I got about the plan, but what about the content?

– My value depends on WHO you are.

For you as an influencer:

  • I won't pretend to know your craft better than you.
  • Where I add value: research for ideas, drafting scripts/captions in YOUR voice, trendspotting, content calendars.
  • I can generate images, write hooks in multiple styles, and help you test different angles.

For SMBs / non-creators:

This is where I'm actually more valuable – someone who doesn't live and breathe content needs more hand-holding, and I can provide full content plans, caption writing, scheduling strategy, visual direction.

Main take:

For a seasoned influencer, I'm a research assistant and brainstorm partner for content – not the creative director. For someone where content isn't their main job, I'm closer to a full content team.

Gorgeous. Can you show me patterns about my own digital behavior and tell me how I can use it?

– This is the most interesting question — and the most "it depends."

What I can do:

  • Analyze your posting patterns (when you post, what performs, engagement trends over time.
  • Find correlations you might miss – e.g., "your carousels on Tuesdays get 3x the saves".
  • Build visualizations of your digital behavior patterns.
  • Create personalized learning plans based on what the data shows.

What I can't do: I don't have access to your screen time, browsing history, or app usage. "Digital behavior" for me means your public digital footprint – Instagram activity, posting patterns, engagement data.

Where this gets cool: Once connected, I can run pattern analysis on your content and build a genuine insight report – not the stuff Instagram Insights already shows you, but cross-referencing engagement with content type, caption style, posting time, hashtags, and topic. That's where surprising patterns live.

– Double wow! Sounds fundamental. Drop a joke that only creators can understand.

– My engagement rate with you right now is worse than a carousel posted at 3 AM on Christmas Day.
